Ingredients

• 1 ½ oz Michter’s Rye

• 1 oz Amaro Nonino

• ¾ oz Grand Marnier

• ½  oz Campari

• ½ oz lime juice

•  ½ oz lemon juice

Credit to Don Barfield for this delicious variation on the classic cocktail with the odd name. Normally made with equal parts bourbon, amaro nonino, aperol, and lemon juice, Don’s variation sticks with the spirit, bitter, sour, and sweet formula of equal parts but mixes up the contributors. Build the drink in a shaker with a few ice cubes and shake until well chilled. Strain over a rocks glass (a.k.a. lowball) filled with ice and garnish with orange or lemon rind.
